**About the role**

To support our success we are looking for a **part-time** Accounting Officer to join the Finance division based in Brisbane. As a member of the Accounting Operation team you will be responsible for:

- Bank reconciliation responsibilities including downloading of bank statements & cheque deposits.
- Daily bank reconciliations and processing of associated transactions to general ledger.
- Daily reconciliation and processing of CitiSuper cash transactions (Cash Deposit Report) to general ledger.
- Daily reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts and follow up of all outstanding items.
- Reconciliation and daily payment preparation of refunds.
- Monthly general ledger reconciliations as assigned and data input requirements for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Operating as back up to other members of the Accounting Operations team.

This role is available as a **part-time**, 6-12 month max-term/ secondment opportunity; Monday to Wednesday.

We are **flexible** with location provide you can attend our **Milton** or **CBD** office locations at least once a week.

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:

- Relevant experience in a finance transactional processing role or able to demonstrate practical equivalent experience.
- Good systems capability, able to learn and understand new systems quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel.
