Reporting to the VIC Service Team Leader for Smart Infrastructure, you will be required to complete technical oriented service work of various scopes and provide support in planning and managing these works at various levels. You will be required to work on a multitude of sites around Melbourne and will be available for after hours and on call support as part of this role.
You will also be responsible for a broad scope of technical tasks which include preventative maintenance tasks, reactive service calls, evaluation of customer’s equipment and assisting with site OH&S audits, among others. You will provide input into technical design and development for service offerings, along with estimating, planning, and reviewing of technical tasks in support of overall project acquisition, negotiation, planning and management.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess the following:
- Experience in service, maintenance and or installation of HVAC systems and controls
- Knowledge and experience of Building Automation systems (desirable)
- Hold a Current Vic Electrical license
- Proficiency with computers, networks and 3rd party software ( i.e. Microsoft )
- Experience with Building Automation / PLC / Process software programming (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to demonstrate strong customer engagement and relationship skills
