FindStaff are currently seeking 2 x experienced Service Technicians to join our Client, Flender, a global organisation specialising in mechanical and electrical drive technology, based in their newly built facility in Bayswater, WA.

Due to rapid business growth in Australia, Flender is seeking two individuals to undertake technical, mainly pre-defined tasks, for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment.

**About the role**:
The tasks and responsibilities required within the role include but are not limited to:

- All aspects of gearbox & power transmission equipment overhaul, including:

- Strip, clean, inspect, report, preserve, pack away, assemble, test run and final assemble
- Responsible for workshop tooling and equipment maintenance
- Maintain reasonable standards of housekeeping in the workshop
- In all instances, follow safety processes, procedures

Working with:

- Large presses (300T & 150T)
- High pressure equipment i.e. Hytorc unit up to 40,000 PSI
- Overhead cranes (6.5T & 25T)
- 5T forklift truck
- Ovens up to 300°C
- Compressed air
- Chemicals (Caustic, solvents, liquid nitrogen, etc.)
- Machinery i.e. Lathes, Milling Machines, Drills and Surface Grinders
- Adhere to defined processes and applicable regulations
- Communicate effectively and builds trust with internal customers
- Industry knowledge and experience in all aspects of power transmission product overhaul
- A technical mind, and the ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and general workshop measuring equipment
- Basic computer literacy
- Recognised relevant trade qualification
- High risk work licences as required
- An understanding of work-related safety standards
- Planning ability and ability to manage results and performance (essential)
