We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Team Lead, Global Payment Operations / Cash Operations to join our Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations team. This role is located in Australia.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

- Monitor/assign the daily incoming activity of payment instruction and prioritize payments based on the priority of instruction and flag any issues to internal stakeholder that arise.
- Perform routine and non-routine client service and transactional support functions. Interacts with other organizational units/teams to ensure timely delivery of service, or resolution of issues.
- Process account related transactions per scheduled events/client authenticated direction. Following established procedures, answers inquiries, and resolves problems or issues.
- Manage the daily transactional workflow within the team and aligns team resources accordingly to complete the daily tasks.
- Manage situations which may require adaptation of response or extensive research according to client response.
- Ensure the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards, and is properly reviewed and documented.
- Integrate area knowledge with understanding of industry standards and practices to provide solutions to internal and external clients. Performs complex operational tasks in a product or functional area.
- May be responsible for allocating and checking work of team members. May be responsible for specific supervisory review and approval actions. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives
- Have good orientation towards Operations controls and risk mitigation in accordance to company standards and market guidelines. Research on differences in cash processing and escalate issues as needed and u nderstand and ensure compliance related to Operations
- Daily communication with internal stakeholders and ensure all systems and process are carried out in a timely manner
- Develops, reviews, and maintains departmental procedures while ensuring adherence to established polices and workflow.
- Provide input to staff reviews and appraisals, Training of staff to achieve quality best practice in service and delivery, Participate in BCP exercises, Responsible for the quality and completion of own work, Other admin responsibilities as assigned by Lead Manager

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferably in Operations or Financial services.
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft office products, Excel
- Problem Solving, analytical skills
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Quick learner and able to work under challenging environment, enjoys working in a multi-tasking environment
