As a **Production Assistant,** you will be part of a team that assists with the assembly and manufacturing of products designed by our engineering team and manufactured on our own machinery. You will also be required to move between workcentres for a variety of sheet metal related processes.
- **Your tasks will include**:_
- Assembling products
- Assisting with powder coating products
- Assisting with other sheet metal manufacturing processes
- Packing and dispatching products
- Ensuring your work area is orderly, clean, neat & tidy at all times
- Ensuring you comply with all OH&S responsibilities
- Compliance with QMS processes and certification
- Provide feedback to the work centre team leader as to the status of your workload and completion level
- Support the work centre team leader in ensuring all machinery is operating at maximum capacity
- Using your initiative to identify and suggest new and improved ways to operate within the factory

**Prerequisites for the position**:

**Classification of position**:
Casual with potential for full time

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $31.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.2 per week
