- about 7 hours ago We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to work at our client facility in Cannon Hill. Our client is an industry leader and one of the world’s largest family-owned beef export business.

**About the role**
This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a requirement to work on afternoon shifts (3pm - 1am or 2pm -12am) including one weekend in every 6 weeks (paid as overtime).

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be operating and maintaining reliability-based maintenance systems for the client facility to ensure the plant and equipment is operating in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise the workflow process to ensure that the PM checks and work orders are scheduled and completed on time
- Set and deliver preventative and planned maintenance schedules
- Attend to breakdown or reactive maintenance and strive toward proactive maintenance practices
- Support planner and scheduler to ensure planning system delivers effective scheduling
- Ensure stock purchasing via the CMMS is done in an efficient manner
- Share information between operations and maintenance for shut down work
- Ensure the preparation of all documentation consistent with ongoing and future work plans
- Communicate effectively with people at all operational levels
- Effective and constructive communication of new ideas and concerns
- Ensure unbiased performance management with the aim of supporting and improving the overall moral of the team
- Any other duties deemed necessary to achieve the agreed business outcomes
- Comply with all HSE and Quality Assurance obligations and requirements

**About you**
- Trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate)
- Experience working within a CMMS system (desirable)
- Good understanding of both engineering and electrical practices
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
