600 Machine Tools are the leading supplier of CNC Equipment, Lathes and all types of machining equipment. We are on the look out for a Field Service Technician to join our growing team

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and perform the Service and Technical Support functions
- Manage all on site installations, commissioning repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
- To perform, manage and grow our Service and Preventative Maintenance Programs with new and existing customers
- Proactively build our customer Database information
- Build positive relationships with our customers
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Preparation of Machinery and Equipment prior to despatch
- To be able to competently work on both manual and CNC equipment
- To liaise with key suppliers in order to resolve technical issues with machinery and / or equipment
- Travel regionally and/or interstate as required
- To maintain a quality Company image
- To work in a Team environment effectively
- To conduct your duties in the best interests of the Company
- **Education level**.

Fitter and Turner, Mechanical Engineering (Trade Certificate)
- **Experienc**e.

Preferably 5 years hands on experience.
- **Specific skills.**

Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and verbal

Understanding of Technical Machinery and Equipment

Strong numeracy skills
- **Licenses**

Forklift License

Car License
- **Personal Characteristics**

Works well under pressure

Customer focused

Outgoing personality

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Seven Hills, NSW 2147: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
