Thriving and progressive, this independent Research, Insights and Strategy Consultancy is driven by a genuine desire to make the world better. They design better experiences, products and experiences that put Australians’ evolving needs and desires both now and in the future at the forefront.
Immersed in qualitative and quantitative research, fuelled by cutting-edge principles of behavioural economics and cultural insights, they drive positive social change. For over half a century, they have been the go-to problem-solvers for diverse clients, including commercial organisations, social enterprises, charities, government departments, and NGOs spanning industries as varied as housing, education, healthcare, finance, and retail.
**Here is a snippet of some recent projects they’ve worked on**:
- Reducing the demand of 000 calls in a non-emergency
- Understanding the behaviours behind risky driving for a government department
- Helping financial institutions deliver communications that improve financial literacy.
- Nudging Victorians to use public or active transport over driving.
- Encouraging Australians to be better prepared during bushfire seasons.
Each project undertaken by this exceptionally consultative consultancy is meticulously tailored, unveiling insightful recommendations and behavioural nudges, interventions, and tangible solutions. Their research findings develop social policies, inspire communication strategies, foster innovative product development, and shed light on pressing social issues.
As the business continues to grow, they are excited for an Associate Director to join their growing Behavioural Insights division. It’s a unique proposition as it straddles social and commercial research, qualitative and quantitative thinking and a boutique agency culture with a global brand and communications agency.
As an Associate Director, you’ll have real clout with clients, who will see you as a trusted advisor from pitch to final presentation and delivery.
We’re looking to speak with strategic thinkers that go beyond the obvious and can translate complex data and information into recommendations that shape growth.
**Managing projects end-to-end, your key responsibilities will encompass**:
- Facilitating conversations with clients to understand their problems deeply
- Designing research proposals
- Facilitating qualitative and quantitative fieldwork
- Translating data into insights, and insights into actionable recommendations
- Delivering reports and presentations that shape behaviour change
Mentor and inspire junior members of the team to share your wisdom and passion in behavioural economics
This role has a qualitative leaning, so it’s essential that you have prior agency experience and are skilled in facilitating focus groups, IDIs, workshops, observations, ethnography and online communities.
Whilst we’re not expecting you to be a Behavioural Economics expert, it would be brilliant if you have a solid understanding of behavioural methodologies - Nudging, heuristics, RCTs, intervention design, coupled with a bachelor’s in psychology, sociology, or marketing.
