Ignite Early Learning Centres are an established, family-owned business who have been operating since 2012. We have over 20 years’ experience within the childcare industry, with 4 of our centres located in Sydney.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Director and Educational Leader to join our growing team 5 days per week in a permanent full-time capacity. Our high-quality education and care services are beautifully designed, boasting strong occupancy and a positive work environment.

**The Role.** This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Team, reporting to the Directors of the business. As Assistant Director and Educational Leader, 70% of your responsibility and time is to be spent on your staff and their development and 30% on the operations of the centre. You will role model excellent leadership to bring out the best in your people, build their capability and support them in making the Centre a safe and engaging place for children, families, and the team.

**To be considered you will need to have**:

- Completed your bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and/or Diploma certificate in Early Childhood (Recognised by ACECQA)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- A current Working with Children Check and NSW Police Check
- A thorough working knowledge of Childrens services regulation, The Early Years Learning Framework and The National Quality Framework
- The ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and colleagues
- Strong written and clearly spoken communication skills
- Child protection certificate (CHCPRTOOO1/2) or willing to obtain
- Your personal teaching philosophy
- 5 year’s experience running a childcare service

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
