Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?

As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.

At Goodstart Bedford Park we are open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 6.30pm and licenced for 60 children per day. Out children and families can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a preschool program and long day care under the one roof. Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support children in learning the skills for school and life. Our Educators are highly qualified and experienced and work incredibly well as a cohesive team. They all pride themselves on creating a fun, exciting and developmentally rewarding learning environment for all children.

All of the learning environments are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. We work in partnership with families on their child’s learning journey which means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths - as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. **In this role, you will**:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care

Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team

Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
