SCT Logistics has an exciting opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our New South Wales Division, based in Minchinbury. As a true business partner you will provide support and coaching to our leaders across the logistics and rail arms of our business. Forming strong and collaborative partnerships will be key in allowing you to guide and influence our leaders to support our people practices and ongoing strategic direction as our company grows.
- Adopt a business partnering approach, provide HR strategic, advisory and operational support to leaders and employees across the employment life cycle.
- Develop and maintain highly effective stakeholder relationships with portfolio people leaders, establishing a reputation for being a trusted advisor and business partner.
- Support management and employees in the interpretation and adherence to applicable industrial instruments, policies, procedures and processes, and best practice.
- Coach and train leaders in developing their leadership and management capabilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of National P&C related projects and programs as required
- Oversee the onboarding process, supporting people leaders to transition new employees into SCT and their new position as well as in effectively induct and orient new employees
- Under the guidance of the GM P&C, undertake the effective case management of employee relations matters
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit survey and exit interview data analysis, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and developing retention strategies to reduce workforce turnover
- Coach leaders and supervisor to develop their knowledge and understanding of Workcover compensation and injury management obligations.
- Manage Workcover claims and ensure they are implemented in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act and associated Regulations as well as SCT policies and procedures

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or related field (desirable)
- Similar experience in a Business Partnering role
- Has experience in using a Human Resource Information System with an ability to coach users to adopt all elements
