Service Advisor, Altona, $80,000 + super

**Your new company**

This German-owned manufacturer of concrete pumps and other equipment for the construction industry is growing at an impressive rate and is looking for an experienced service advisor to join their team in Altona on a full-time, permanent basis. As a $1 billion plus global organisation, this company has been a leader in the world of construction and mining since 1958 and its customers are at the heart of everything they do. Their brand of reliability comes from over 60 years of experience, innovation and research.

**Your new role**

In your new role as a Service Advisor, you will report directly to the Service Manager and will be a key member of the team, acting as a reliable point of contact for all customers.
- Act as the prime point of contact between the Service Department and the customers for repair and maintenance service on vehicles
- Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times'
- Determine customer requirements and assist in the selection of solutions
- Actively manage customers' expectations of their servicing needs
- Invoicing and preparing Repair Orders in a timely manner

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role, you will be an exceptional communicator with a can-do attitude from a manufacturing background.

You will also have
- Previous experience working for an automotive manufacturer
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar, customer-facing role
- Experience with SAP and similar systems is essential.
- A thorough understanding of maintaining vehicles
- A professional demeanour, excellent organisation skills and capabilities of upselling to customers
