**The Role**
Working in conjunction with our Project team, the
**Structural Designer** will be instrumental in developing installation and designs, ensuring their technical accuracy and compliance with standards. You will be involved in work across a diverse range of projects which will challenge you to showcase your design and drafting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop 3D/2D models for manufacture and assembly purposes.
- Design and detail drawings for structural steel fabrication in accordance with MVLV procedures and Australian standards.
- Producing layouts, fabrication drawings, lifting drawings,
- Delivery of outputs in accordance with scope, schedule, cost and quality parameters.
- Assisting in designs for complete and complex engineering reviews of structure and arrangements.
- Produce drawings in the most efficient and cost-effective method without affecting quality or technical accuracy.
- Working within budget and schedule to deliver drawings within agreed timeframe, meeting all compliance and QA requirements.
- Respond to queries on drawings from external consultants, clients and contractors as necessary, ensuring responses are recorded and actioned.
- Checking of drawings.
- Updating standard libraries, models, and templates.

**About You**
- 5-10 years drafting experience preferably within the Mining & Manufacturing industry.
- Qualification in Engineering/Drafting.
- Strong working knowledge of structural drafting and detailing.
- Competencies in AutoCAD, solidworks & PDM.
- Developing details from Engineers’ sketches.
- Manipulating electronic drawings prepared by others.
- Interpreting related reference documents and drawings prepared by other disciplines, vendors and outside sources.
- Inspection on all drawings.
