**Quality Assurance Officer - Part time, The Channon, NSW**

Are you passionate about quality assurance and have a keen eye for detail? Join Australian Native Products, the world’s largest producer of Lemon Myrtle, as a **Quality Assurance Officer** based at our beautiful location in The Channon, NSW.

**About Us**:
Since 1998, we’ve been at the forefront of Lemon Myrtle production, growing into a global leader with a diversified product range and customer base.

**The Role**:
As our Quality Assurance Officer, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure our products meet the highest standards. You’ll coordinate quality tasks, handle sampling and documentation, support third-party audits, and maintain compliance with organic and food safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct sampling and testing of products and materials to ensure quality and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability, audits, and reporting purposes.
- Support the preparation and execution of third-party audits, including documentation.
- Collaborate on the development and maintenance of quality procedures, SOPs and training.
- Perform internal audits to monitor compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Assist with managing inventory and sample retention processes.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to uphold compliance with SQF, Organic, GAP, and GMP standards.

**What You’ll Need**:

- A degree in food science, agriculture, or a related field, OR at least 2+ years of experience in a QA/QC or similar role.
- Experience in food quality analysis and sampling practices.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and safely in a laboratory environment.
- Experience with SQF, Organic, GAP and GMP standards highly regarded.
