Reporting to the Head of Lending Operations, you’ll play a key role in accelerating the decision-to-funding process for auto lending by assessing the credit quality and settlement compliance of funded loans. A core part of your remit will be conducting in-depth hindsight reviews to ensure applications are approved within delegated lending authorities and align with Avanti’s Credit Policy.

What you’ll be doing:

As our Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind credit quality and compliance across our Branded Financial Services (BFS) lending operations. You’ll:

- Lead hindsight reviews of credit and settlement decisions

- Develop and embed a robust QA program across the lending lifecycle

- Deliver actionable insights to uplift team capability and reduce risk

- Chair the Hindsight Committee and report to senior leadership

- Identify and report on fraud and collections trends

- Coach and support Credit Analysts, Settlement Officers, and BDMs

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with leaders across Credit, Risk, Legal, and Distribution to ensure we’re making fast, accurate, and policy‑aligned lending decisions.

What we’re looking for:

- 3–5+ years in credit or lending, ideally in auto, home loan, or business lending

- Strong understanding of Australian consumer credit legislation

- A confident communicator who can coach, influence, and lead change

- Experience with scorecard and judgmental lending

- A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
