The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Marketing Manager within the Regional Team along with others in the team to ensure Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre delivers world-class marketing and social media activity.

This role will develop, deliver and maintain a website and social media content calendar that attracts, sustains and retains customers, as well as work collaboratively with the marketing manager to deliver the annual marketing strategy and business plan.

Key Accountabilities- Development, curation and scheduling of engaging content, including copywriting to enhance the brand and build strong online communities across our social platforms
- Assist marketing manager to deliver written content (blog posts, social media posts, etc),and marketing collateral in-line with the City of Sydney’s brand and writing style guidelines.
- Use Canva Enterprise to create marketing collateral that is in-line with the City of Sydney brand guidelines
- Support the Marketing Manager and Community Engagement Coordinator to connect with targeted community groups via key initiatives, events and offers
- Support the Marketing Manager with managing relationship with external suppliers, marketing partners and media publishers

ESSENTIAL:

- 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proven understanding of relationship management
- Knowledgeable about customer experience
- Handling queries, feedback and outgoing comms
- Previous experience in a fast-paced marketing environment
- Management of social media channels and tools
- First Aid Level 2 & Current CPR
- National Police Check upon onboarding
- Working with Children's Check or equivalent

DESIRABLE:

- Graphic design experience
- Video content creation and editing
- Leisure and/or fitness industry experience
