**The client**:
Our client is one of the largest clusters of State Government, who are looking for a WHS Senior Project Officer to join the team.

The role will be leading, developing, implementing, and evaluating risk management policies and programs, training employees in occupational health and safety procedures, monitoring and auditing the workplace, and recording and investigating incidents to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.

**Your role will include**:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects.
- Develop and implement hazmat framework.
- Develop project plans, coordinate resources, manage budgets, meet reporting requirements, and support project-related activities
- Ensure project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget

**You will have**:

- Must have a strong background in health safety hygiene, specifically experienced in asbestos.
- Ideally have EPA policy background or advisor analyst in government.
- Government experience is desirable but not required
- Strong stakeholder management skills
