**Your new role awaits**

As General Manager Industrial Solutions, you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans that deliver sustainable expansion of this growth division within Coates. Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, key focus areas include identifying new business opportunities from new sectors and geographies, establishing sales and operations teams that deliver on revenue growth and customer service excellence, delivering new technologies, tooling and services to satisfy customers' needs and driving a safety first zero harm culture.

Key accountabilities include:

- Leading and guiding your sales team to Identify business opportunities that expand the business’ customer base into new markets (industry sectors, services, geographies)
- Continually review, analyse and report on performance against budgets and asset return metrics to ensure targets are achieved
- Lead, coach and manage the activities of senior team members nationally against key metrics
- Ensure full lifecycle planning is in place for all Industrial Solutions product groups
- Work closely with Coates’ senior leadership team and key divisions to ensure all stakeholder needs are well understood and included in Industrial Solutions' plans
- Draft Board reports, investment papers, marketing briefs and coordinate Coates' participation in relevant trade shows and other forums
- Be market facing with Sales teams, participate in the development of major tenders and manage national opportunity pipeline
- Build plans for the development and implementation of technologies that enhance Industrial Solutions’ market positioning and performance
- Develop and implement policies to manage contract compliance (rates, hours, safety, invoicing, disputes, rehires, product/ service/consumables sales, KPI's)

**What you’ll bring to the role**

We are seeking an **_implementation specialist_** who will have:

- A track record of developing business strategies and delivering business growth of complex services within the industrial sector (or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate large matrixed organisations to deliver on customer needs
- Experience in leading and developing large, geographically dispersed teams
- Prior experience working with rental models highly regarded, though not mandatory
- Past experience in leading a safety first, zero harm culture
- Degree qualified - business &/or engineering
