- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Preparation, analysis and testing of specimens and/or assays
- Competency in blood film morphology is a requirement.
- Perform designated testing procedures as outlined in methods and procedures, ensuring adherence to NPAAC/NATA ISO15189 requirements.
- Participation in internal and external quality assurance programs.
- Participation in continuing education.
- Liaise with internal and/ or external stakeholders (referring practitioners) regarding test results or referrals as necessary
- Collaborate with clinical laboratory members to in develop, validate and implement genomic assays into a diagnostic setting, as per NPAAC/NATA ISO15189 requirements.

- A Bachelor of Science or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a diagnostic laboratory is desirable.
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and accountability.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to team performance.
- Knowledge of quality assurance systems and scientific instrumentation and equipment
