**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, passionate, high performing individual to join our team in a newly created role in a brand new team (who you will be responsible for recruiting).

Our Lead Business Specialist External - Early Education role leads a portfolio of customers which may range from Mid-Large through to Strategic Accounts. The role is accountable for acquisition and nurturing of new and high growth potential accounts, or retention and growth of larger individual accounts.

Performance is driven by high quality, strategic account planning, exceptional base coverage, high quality customer conversations, identification of growth and retention opportunities and the execution of those opportunities.

As a Lead BSE or BSA, this position also holds a secondary accountability to support the allocated Business Area Manager with day to day guidance and coaching for other BSEs and BSAs within the team.

**About you**:

- Minimum 3-5 years Sales experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a B2B Sales environment, preferably within mid to large or Enterprise level accounts and ideally within a comparable industry (exact industry experience beneficial, not essential)
- Strong experience of accurately forecasting and influencing sales performance at an individual level\
- Solid experience in analysis, opportunity identification and customer prioritisation within a portfolio
- Strong experience in building, maintaining and continually improving the quality of a sales pipeline (eg volume, value, win rates and pipeline velocity)
- Prior experience in team coaching or management is desirable but not essential
