A long-respected, community-anchored, not-for-profit early learning service governed by a supportive, professional Committee of Management. Four highly resourced learning environments, regular library visits, bush kinder, and incursions, underpinned by joyful, inquiry-rich learning.
The role in action- Drive excellence in governance, compliance and continuous improvement aligned to National Law & Regulations
- Co-lead pedagogy with the Educational Leader, embedding high-quality, play-based programs (VEYLDF/EYLF V2.0)
- Champion reflective practice and data-informed planning through the QIP and A&R feedback cycles
- Mentor and empower ~35 educators and support staff; foster wellbeing and professional growth
- Cultivate strong partnerships with families, the community and stakeholders
- Oversee strategic operations: budgeting, transparent governance, workforce planning and long-term sustainability
- Ensure full compliance across all legislative and regulatory requirements
- ACECQA-recognised Degree (ideally) with VIT registration
- 3+ years as Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor (community/NFP experience ideal)
- Evidenced strength in NQF/NQS compliance with Exceeding-level outcomes
- Strategic, responsive leadership style, high on empathy, action and professionalism
- Relationship-first approach where people and pedagogy come before profit
