Behaviour Support Practitioner
At **Enhanced Ability Behaviour Support**, we are currently seeking **independent Behaviour Support Practitioners** with a minimum of one year of experience developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans under the NDIS. You don’t need to bring an existing caseload—but if you do, we’ll support the onboarding process to ensure participants have genuine choice and control.
- **At this time, we are only engaging contractors. This is not an employed position.**_
**The Culture**
- You will be part of a small, connected and supportive team. We trust you to work with autonomy and purpose, and we'll be here to guide and support you when needed.
- Remote work isn’t a benefit—it’s how we work. You have the freedom to work from wherever suits you, with the trust, flexibility, and support to build your days around your life, not the other way around.
- We don’t use KPIs to measure your worth or manage your day. But we do ask that about 80% of your agreed hours be spent on billable work. It keeps things sustainable for you and consistent for the people you support.
- You’ll be backed by a team that handles intake, admin, and all the behind-the-scenes tasks, so you’re free to focus on client work.
- You’ll be backed by our NDIS registration and compliance processes, giving you the security and peace of mind to focus on what matters—our participants.
**The Opportunity**
As a **Behaviour Support Practitioner**, you’ll work collaboratively with participants, families, and support networks to deliver evidence-based behaviour support under the NDIS framework.
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core or Proficient level preferred).
- Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework and restrictive practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professional practice.
**You’ll Also Need**:
- 100 points of identification.
- Valid driver’s license and a comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
- Full Australian working rights.
- An Australian Business Number (ABN).
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, or a related field.
**What We Offer**
- Competitive rate: $100-110/hr (based on experience and practitioner level).
- Flexibility: Work from home and set your own schedule.
- No KPIs: Our priority is the success of our clients—your focus should be on them.
- Comprehensive support: We provide the systems and NDIS registration so you can focus on building your client base and delivering exceptional service.
- **Please note: This role is an Independent Contractor position. You will manage your own superannuation, taxes, expenses, and provide your own equipment (computer, phone, etc.). Employee option will potentially be considered.**
Please note**:To be considered, you MUST have experience as a NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner and include a cover letter addressing the selection criteria.**
**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual
Pay: $100.00 - $110.00 per hour
**Benefits**:
- Work from home
