**The Role**
This is your opportunity to contribute to an organisation which focuses on its people and culture, listening to our clients and developing our platforms to better serve our clients. Reporting to the Manager, 1st Line Technology Risk & Compliance, you will be a key member of a growing team in this newly created role, responsible for assessing that Insignia's key technology risks are being appropriately managed through effective controls and governance processes. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your skills and experience with a team of highly regarded technology risk and compliance SMEs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the execution of the Annual Technology Control Testing Plan, to ensure there is adequate and appropriate control coverage to meet regulatory and internal requirements, and to provide assurance over Insignia's technology risk position.
- Support technology control testing planning and control uplift activities.
- Assess design and operating effectiveness of technology controls.
- Document design and operating effectiveness assessments in workpapers, including findings and control weakness assessments.
- Identify and monitor appropriate actions for remediation where there are controls gaps, or controls are found to be partially or fully ineffective.
- Support the Technology Risk Team with other technology risk and compliance assurance, and other activities as required.
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
- Proven IT Audit or technology risk assurance, or related experience.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or an IT related discipline.
- CISA or CRISC certification (or currently working towards this).
- Sound knowledge of technology risk management concepts, frameworks and standards.
- An understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape, as it relates to information security/cyber security (e.g. CPS 234).
- Strong business engagement skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communications and strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
