**The Opportunity**:
Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic investment environment? At QPE, we are currently seeking an Associate to join our Brisbane office on a 12-month parental leave contract. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and long-standing team members who bring years of valuable experience.
Play a vital role in our **Private Equity**initiatives, including the continuous development of new business opportunities, business development, client management and delivering a high touch service model. As part of a growing global team of 26 professionals across London, Copenhagen, Brisbane, and San Francisco, you will engage in every aspect of business development and client management.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Take a leading role in managing the sales pipeline with regional Private Equity Partners, leading and driving the agenda for sales calls with US, Europe, and Asia teams, and overseeing follow-up actions.
- Project manage client onboarding from an investment team perspective, coordinating across multiple QIC business lines (Legal, Risk, Capital Solutions, etc.), and ensuring clear communication of private equity terms.
- Maintain and update pitchbooks quarterly in collaboration with the reporting team, requiring knowledge of SMA structures and proficiency with eFront and LPAnalyst data extraction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client requests, coordinating responses from the investment team, working closely with QIC’s Capital Solutions (client facing) team.
- Ensure that all materials comply with compliance review process.
- Assist the QPE team with financial, operational, or research assignments, conducting detailed analysis and preparing compelling presentation materials.Participate in weekly Private Equity team meetings and Investment Committee discussions, providing business development updates.
**About You**:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, or similar required.
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in investing, investment consulting, management consulting, or sales.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation, with the ability to manage up to obtain relevant information from multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to foster strong working relationship.
- A strong interest in the private equity industry.Self-starter, enjoying collaboration across diverse teams and offices.
