Assistant Centre Manager/educational Leader

An exciting opportunity has become available for an **Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader** to join the team at Genius, **Taylors Lakes**.

**Your new centre**:
Conveniently located next to Melton Highway and Calder freeway. We have a terrific outdoor play area for children to explore, a bike track and a veggie garden, wet play area and a modern and inspired learning environment.

The modern indoor space is bright and filled with light to create an inspiring learning environment. Filled with resources to support the children’s development, the classrooms are like a home away from home.

**Your new role**:

- Be responsible for managing the operations of the centre, ensuring your centre complies with the standards set out by the NQF
- Lead, mentor, and develop your team using the Genius Learning Management System to ensure all our staff provide the highest quality learning and care for the children under our care
- Build strong relationships with families and the community. Manage open days, centre tours and orientation that will help your centre actively attract, convert and retain families.
- Work with your educators to ensure your team is providing a quality program that evolves to meet the highest standard.
- Collaborate with our Senior Educators and Leaders and support the centre to meet and exceed the NQS and constantly improve our programs.
- This role will also include some time working on the floor when required
- This role is for a maternity cover, 1 year contract with the opportunities to transition into another role as a permanent position

**What YOU need**:

- Diploma-level early childhood qualification (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Relevant working with children checks, police checks, child protection course, First Aid and CPR including anaphylaxis and asthma
- You will have sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
