Customer Service Officer needed to commence immediately

Your new company

Hays Gippsland is currently working with an organisation who has been supporting Australian communities for over 60 years with their services. We currently have an exciting customer service officer position available working for this large Australian steel distributer.

The role of Customer Service Officer will be to provide a range of efficient customer services to support both internal and external stakeholders of the business.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Processing and maintain general administration information
- Respond to individuals enquiries while building meaningful relationships
- Review and action open order reports daily
- First point of contact for stakeholders in all aspects
- Conduct outbound calls to update clients of order status
- Other Ad-hoc duties as required

What you’ll need to succeed
- Outstanding ability to build strong rapport with individuals
- Ability to use initiative and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to navigate and use computer systems
- Previous experience within a customer service role (ideally within a call centre)
- Proactive and driven to meet KPI’s

What you’ll get in return

You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of upwards of $36p/h + super. Along with that, you will enjoy working in a small friendly team with ongoing training and support. You will be working full time hours onsite, with potential in the future for work from home flexibility.
