Calibre has an opportunity for an experienced designer to join a friendly team of designers at our centrally located Perth office. As a Civil & Track Designer at Calibre, you will be working on a major projects style programme of heavy haul rail works for one of our tier-one mining clients, and will:

- Work on a detailed design for a rail renewal scope including aspects such as track renewals, level crossings, ballast, and turnouts.
- Work autonomously and with the design team to prepare design drawings in accordance with the statutory requirements.
- Liaise with engineers and drafters for project designs and specifications.

The current work at hand and plenty of new projects on the horizon will provide opportunities beyond this initial project work and long-term prospects as a valued member of our design team.

- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree.
- 3+ years of experience as a Civil Designer.
- Experience working within a project environment, preferably within the mining or rail industry.
- Understanding of end-to-end civil design, with some knowledge of rail components.
- Experience with 12D software and MicroStation
- Ability to work independently and engage and collaborate with teams
