Following the award of a major long-term contract, REMA Tip Top is expanding its workforce. We are seeking experienced Boilermakers, Fitters and Trade Assistant's with valid Australian working rights to join our team for shutdown and maintenance work locally

**Boilermaker Duties**:

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures, boilers, and pressure vessels.
- Weld using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- Conduct inspections and perform repairs on boilers and tanks.
- Operate tools and machinery such as grinders, cutting torches, and hydraulic presses.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

**Mechanical Fitter Duties**:

- Assemble, install, and align pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other mechanical components.
- Read mechanical drawings and schematics to perform accurate installations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical plant equipment.
- Fit and align shafts, bearings, and couplings using precision tools.
- Diagnose faults and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Perform shutdown work and preventative maintenance tasks.

**Trade Assistant Duties**:

- General support/ Clean up
- Assist tradespeople with tools, equipment, and materials as required.
- Set up and pack down work areas, including moving and preparing tools and materials.
- Clean and maintain workshop or site environments to ensure safety and efficiency.

**Skills & Experience**
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
- Strong experience with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and fault finding
- Drivers License
- White Card
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications.
- Forklift or EWP license.(desirable)
- Experience with shutdowns, site work, or mobile plant.
- Competency in workshop tools, machines, and fabrication processes
- Ability to work independently and in a team across workshop and field environments
