Group Quality Manager

**The Opportunity** SEE Civil are seeking an experienced civil construction-focused quality professional to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Corporate Quality Management System. Reporting to the General Manager Strategy & Engineering, this senior role will drive efficiency and operational performance across our group portfolio by ensuring compliance with third-party certification standards and exceeding client-specific requirements. **Responsibilities** - Gain a full understanding and working knowledge of the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) and contractual obligations. - Responsible and accountable to maintain the quality system, appropriate registers and ensure all relevant quality documentation is completed as required by the IMS and contractual obligations. - Responsible to complete audit requirements for the quality system as directed by the IMS Manager. - Monitor activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confronts non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner. - Conduct preparatory, initial and follow up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work. Verify that checklists are being used and signed off before the placement of concrete, steel and other similar items of work. - Keep informed of all developments in legislative requirements, industry standards and best practices of the construction of projects and ensure that these are followed at all times with a high priority to workplace health and safety. - Develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures within the Quality System to ensure the organisation is compliant with all statutory OH&S requirements. - Ensure that plant, equipment, staff and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions and ensure that all departmental operations meet the environmental, safety and legislative requirements. **Essential Skills and Attributes** - Background in Engineering, Construction and Delivery processes and experience in actual project delivery. - Read, interpret and quantify project plans, standards and specifications effectively and communicate this information to the site supervisors as required. - Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to indirectly lead, motivate and influence others is considered critical. - Extensive experience in, and knowledge of, Quality practices and procedures, current legislative requirements, and hands-on experience monitoring and reviewing OHS&W systems, procedures and practices. - Proven site-based experience serving as a Contractor Quality Representative (CQR) on projects requiring TMR prequalification at R4/B3 level or higher. **The SEE Way** SEE Group is a family-built company with over 35 years of experience in delivering excellence across civil construction, mining, and infrastructure.
