Join SEE Group's dynamic team and take on the exciting challenge of leading our asset division as a Division Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing operations, driving efficiency and profitability, and shaping the division's strategic direction. Don't miss out on this fantastic career opportunity.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the division that aligns with the overall strategy of SEE Group
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the division's customer base.
- Identify and develop partnerships with key mining stakeholders, such as mining clients and contractors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure that the division has access to the latest technology and equipment.
- Develop and implement a sustainability strategy for the division.
- Identify and pursue rental opportunities, both locally and offshore.
- Responsible and accountable for the Group’s Preferred Supplier Agreement for the supply of hired plant and equipment.
- Responsible for the acquisition and disposal of plant and equipment.
- Provide recommendations on the whole of life asset strategy.
- Responsible for maximising the utilisation of plant.
- Working with the Executive Director Operations and Logistics and Chief Financial Officer to develop the Capital Management Plan.
- Oversee and support the Maintenance and Administration Teams within the asset division.
**Essential Skills and Attributes**
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in leading and managing a team.
- Knowledge of plant and equipment, and asset management.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in managing a P&L.
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements.
