Lumi are a global technology company, with offices in 11 countries around the world. We create interactive solutions (event apps, voting solutions, and webcasts) that are utilised at conferences and meetings, online, in person and in a hybrid blend of both.

**The Role**

Due to a huge increase in demand for our hybrid meeting solutions, we are currently recruiting for a number of trainee interactive event producers. The successful individuals will be part of a team that project manage the end-to-end delivery of our in-room and online system, as well as provide webcasting and other interactive elements of the meeting.

While no two meetings are the same, this will typically include:

- Configuring websites (using Lumi’s simple dashboard, for which training will be provided).
- Liaising with the client ahead of the meeting and liaising with audio visual companies
- Attending events onsite, setting up and running interactive technology.
- Running live streaming and voting software.

**On Offer**

The advertised roles are on a salaried basis for a fixed 6 month term, those that excel in the role will then be offered permanent contracts

The equivalent permanent salary is $55,000 p.a. + super

Opportunity to work overseas (in the past 6 months, members of the Australian team have worked in the UK, Singapore, Belgium and France)

**Office**

We are currently recruiting employees for our North Sydney office. However applicants for our Melbourne office will also be considered.

While the meetings we produce are typically delivered from these offices or at onsite locations (typically conference centres & hotels), we offer a hybrid approach of office and remote working when not running these events.

**Essential Requirements**

There are certain skills we require for the role however personality is the main driver of those that have succeeded in the past. This is a genuine trainee role with full training and support provided.

We need people with a fantastic work ethic, positive attitude, and the self-confidence to communicate effectively with senior executives, CEOs, company directors and AV technicians.

While you don't need to be an expert in IT; experience (either professionally or as a hobby) in coding, live streaming, web design, electronic music production, video editing etc. would be beneficial.

**Must have**:

- Current passport and visa with full working rights in Australia, no travel restrictions
- Microsoft Office - high level of competency
- Flexibility in working hours
- Drivers Licence - Manual
- Degree level education (ideally IT related qualification) OR relevant Tafe and work experience
- High level of personal presentation
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within small teams
- Ability to lift heavy (up to 20kg) equipment
- Pass a Police Check

**Highly Regarded**:

- Experience/qualifications in html
- Practical experience of configuring and running streaming platforms e.g. Twitch, YouTube Live, Webcasting
- Experience/qualifications in IT networks
- Work experience within the conference and events industry
- Work experience within the AV industry
- Public speaking

You don't have a current Visa and passport with FULL working rights

You don't hold a driver's license

**Hours**

Office hours are typically 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, these will however vary per your schedule. Events may require you to be on-site during weekends and public holidays. Time off in lieu will be given for any work carried out at these times.
