The Account Director will be responsible for and have experience in all aspects of client servicing, major construction clients and major projects. By definition, these major clients are often multinational, as are markets, requiring flexibility in timing and delivery approach. Typical projects require bespoke and tailored solutions. With their added complexity, off shelf products are of limited use, so the ability to problem solve and find solutions is a key driver for the role. The role will also entail assisting to win new major clients and projects. Being client centric and understanding the needs and requirements of clients at this level, the Account Director will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, technical and organisational skills, strong service ethic ensuring incomparable quality service is always delivered to our clients. Additionally, they will assist in generating new business opportunities to contribute to the success of the team and will work to achieve individual and team targets and agreed service level agreements.

**The Role**:

- As client advocate, ensure that the client’s risk management and insurance broking objectives are determined and actioned to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Key success areas are:

- Maintain best in class relationships with key clients
- Client Service strategies implemented in accordance with WTW Client Service
- Service clients in a proactive and timely manner, in accordance with their needs and requests
- Proactive claims management
- Multiple tier client contact implemented and reviewed for all qualifying accounts in accordance with WTW Client Service - bringing the best resources of WTW to the client
- Formal client feedback (Net Promotor Score) obtained annually for all qualifying accounts in accordance with WTW Client Service
- Renewal process to be completed resulting in no outstanding renewals
- Provide advice and manage major projects, whether in bid phase or placement phase
- Work closely as part of the Major client’s team to balance workflows and ensure all deliverables and client expectations are met or exceeded (one team approach)
- In consultation with the Head of Major Client and Complex Risk, drive the new business development process within the team, with appropriate strategies to gain new business for the team. Key success areas are
- Personal involvement in all selected new business exercises
- Maintain accuracy, currency and quality of the information contained within the CRM Pipeline.
- Maximisation of the revenue generated from the existing client base and projects. Key success areas are:

- Premium funding to be offered to all clients.
- Debtor collections in accordance with terms of trade.
- No client placements outside Willis Towers Watson approved insurers.
- Explore all up selling and cross selling opportunities.
- Fees & Commissions charged in accordance with the Financial Services Guide (incorporating Client engagement guide
- Working with reinsurance colleagues to unlock capacity and potential income opportunities
- Manage company profile with insurers by identifying and maintaining strategic relationships in all key markets. Key success areas are:

- Maintain or improve relationships with insurers.
- Maintain and coordinate placement with Placement Director - coordinate key messaging in line with strategy developed by Broking
- Maintain best in class underwriting submissions
- Manage and maintain profile and relationships with key regional and global relationships with WTW colleagues
- Comply with specific business management processes. Key success areas are:

- Compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Assist in ensuring expenditure budget maintained or reduced.
- Create an environment which provides individual staff with personal satisfaction, recognition for achievement and the opportunity to develop their skills. Key success areas are:

- Ensure all staff reporting to you undertake and record with HR, 25 hours of professional development activities as detailed in their Continuing Professional Development Plans
- Talent REWARD completed annually for all staff reporting to you.
- Assist with growing and maintaining the Practice People Pipeline.
- Training/ Mentoring and development of the People within the team
- In liaison with the Head of Major Client and Complex Risk and using data from your Continuing Professional Development Plan identify development and plan activities to meet these needs during the next 12 months. Key success areas are:

- Achieve and maintain compliance with the Financial Services Reform Act Tier 1 education requirement (e.g. Diploma of Financial Services, Insurance Broking)
- Undertake 25 hours of professional development as detailed in your Continuing Professional Development Plan
- Participate in the annual Talent REWARD process with your team leader / manager
- Participate in all company sponsored mandatory training
- Advise HR of all attendances at external course
