**About the Role**
Working across our Professional Practice portfolio, the Performance Analyst enables a data-driven culture by building tools, workflows, and dashboards that empower teams to make confident, evidence-based decisions. The role also supports forecasting, financial modelling, and regulatory reporting, ensuring programs remain efficient, innovative, and aligned with organisational objectives and member needs. To be effective, this role will work to support other teams in Professional Practice, the division as a whole, and at times College-led initiatives.
By combining analytical expertise with stakeholder engagement and a solutions-focused mindset, the Performance Analyst helps optimise program performance, measure member value, and position Professional Practice as a leader in delivering contemporary, impactful professional development services.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Design and maintain integrated, timely performance reporting systems that deliver consistent, automated insights at both program and portfolio levels.
- Build robust, fit-for-purpose data models and dashboards to evaluate program performance, measure member value, and track strategic objectives.
- Lead performance analysis of programs and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
- Champion a data-informed culture across Professional Practice, building tools, workflows, and best-practice guidelines that support confident decision-making.
- Collaborate with program and product teams to define success metrics, develop hypotheses, and validate initiatives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure compliance, accreditation readiness, and alignment with evolving requirements.
- Coordinate responses to government and regulatory consultations and support reporting for compliance and accreditation activities.
- Monitor trends and the competitive landscape to inform portfolio strategies and future opportunities.
- Identify and address delivery obstacles to improving performance measurement and reporting.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**Essential Attributes**
- 5+ years in performance analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering performance reporting, dashboards, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Proven ability to build and manage robust data models, integrate data from multiple sources, and perform advanced data analysis.
- Experience translating complex data sets into clear, actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Track record of evaluating programs, processes, or services to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
- Experience in using financial modelling and forecasting techniques to inform planning and resource allocation.
- Strong experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to support reporting, compliance, and performance outcomes.
- Competency in data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools) and familiarity with enterprise data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
