Rabobank’s ANZ Internal Audit function is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager. Based in Sydney you will join a highly engaged team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Audit Australia, this hands-on position requires you to leverage your proven internal audit experience to lead audits from the planning stage through to timely completion. While the role does not have direct reports, you will have the opportunity to utilise & guide Senior Internal Auditors as needed, providing coaching & support to ensure successful audit outcomes.
**Top Role Accountabilities**:
- Manage the execution of IT audits, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet time, budget, & quality objectives
- Ensure effective & timely communication to stakeholders regarding findings, risks recommendations & progress of assignments
- Support management in the process of analysing key risks & controls
- Review adequacy of action taken by management to correct reported control deficiencies
- Assist in preparing reports for Head Office, the Australian Board Audit Committee, the Senior Officer Outside Australia, & local regulators
**To be successful you will have**:
- 5 years’ + experience in an Internal IT Audit role within Banking & Finance
- In depth understanding of IT audit methodologies & requirements
- Good working knowledge of Australia & New Zealand regulatory requirements
- Member of an appropriate professional body - Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA), CPA Australia (CPA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
- An ability to establish, maintain & build relationships within a team & with stakeholders
- An ability to communicate clearly & succinctly, verbally & in writing
- An ability to influence & persuade others
- An ability to analyse & solve problems
