Are you an experienced audit professional looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Manager Audit to join our team and lead our audit operations.

**About the role**

As the** Manger Audit,** your role will lead and manage a team in the development and implementation of internal and external audit functions to support the delivery of the Department’s objectives and priorities.

You will lead and manage your team to support the roll-out of significant audit initiatives. This will include facilitating stakeholder engagement, implementing strategies to monitor and evaluate audit policies and procedures, and lead requests undertaken by the NSW Audit Office.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in audit, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role. You will also have a strong understanding of relevant statutory requirements and public sector policies and standards relating to audit practices. You will have excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

**Essential Requirements**
- Membership of a relevant professional body such the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and/or Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA)
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience. (e.g. CA, CPA, CIA, CISA).
