An exciting opportunity has presented for a talented individual to join our Audit Division. With an existing portfolio including mature privately-owned businesses, quality not-for-profit entities, as well as small to medium sized listed and unlisted public companies, your focus will be to provide leadership for the team of high calibre individuals in our audit division.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Manager to join our growing Audit & Assurance division.

The Opportunity:
The role will include maintaining close client relationships, actively pursuing new business opportunities and continually reviewing and improving our audit methodology and practices as well as overseeing the delivery of first-class service that includes audit and audit related services including all aspects of the statutory audit process including; assistance in planning of audit assignments, including assessments of business and related risks; and execution of assignments.

Supervision of more junior team members on audit assignments; assessment of control environments; assessment of computer reporting systems and associated controls; reporting of results; liaison with US, European and South African offices of Praxity, our international affiliation.

Excellent technical knowledge of local and international audit standards; IFRS; experience with auditing large proprietary and small cap publicly listed companies; sound understanding of internal control requirements for accounting and computer systems.
