Redpath Partners have been selected to work with a Global Renowned brand who are reinventing their service, off the back of a very profitable year.
Our client have won a multi million dollar Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) project in Melbourne with construction due to start at the beginning of November. We are actively recruiting for an HR/IR Lead to join the team.
As the Project HR/IR Lead you will provide leadership across the Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Training, Learning & Assist Payroll, Travel and General Services functions - managing an established and committed team
This a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of project's human capital and support services, working closely with the senior leadership team and also directly interfacing with the client
**Project location is**
**Plumpton VIC**. This role will be site based and report directly into the Project Manager.
Responsibilities of the Project HR/IR Lead include
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with project goals, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Manage labor relations, including negotiation and compliance with labor laws and union agreements.
- Identify training needs, design programs, and promote professional development to enhance the skills of our workforce.
- Oversee payroll team, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Work with your travel to team to coordinate and optimize travel arrangements for project personnel.
- Ensure adherence to HR, IR, and legal requirements, fostering a fair and inclusive workplace.
Requirements of the [Project HR/IR Lead ]include
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in HR and IR roles within the construction industry, including mega infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in using Office Suite software and previous experience in HRIR database software
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and relevant regulations.
