**To be eligible you must meet the following criteria**:

- ** Have NDIS funding.**:

- A current national police check.
- The right to work in Australia.
- Able to get to and from the workplace in Victoria Point Brisbane.
- Able to work Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 4.00pm.

**Position Overview**:
You will be a part of our Hosted Employment team. You will work alongside people in the **Catering** area. The position includes basic preparation of food, basic food and beverage services, and cleaning. Every day at work you will be supported by an Endeavour Foundation Employment Coach.

**Responsibilities: (All training is provided).**
- Carrying out basic food preparation, i.e. washing, peeling, dicing, cutting, grilling, roasting and baking.
- Provide basic food and drinks services as required.
- Assisting with events, set up and pack down.
- Clearing waste and general cleaning of kitchen.
- Operating machinery (Mixers and blenders).
- Ensuring caterers and chefs have the tools and food they need for their day.
- Following all workplace health and safety.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Lived experience with a disability.
- Basic communication skills and understanding.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the team around you.
- Follow direction from Employment Coach.
- A positive team-based attitude.
- Experience working with food is desired but not necessary.
