The Critical Minerals, Investment Specialist is responsible for liaising with industry stakeholders and government agencies. The Investment Specialist takes the lead on managing critical minerals development collaborative studies and associated promotions and events, managing stakeholder relationships, and communicating with the Victorian Government's domestics and international trade and investment offices (as required), to support the implementation of the Resources Victoria-led critical mineral's roadmap.

**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Demonstrated contemporary minerals development or operating experience (pre-feasibility to operations/rehabilitation), including an understanding of international mineral resource and ore reserve reporting codes (JORC / NI43-101) and associated modifying factors.
- Demonstrated understanding of the critical minerals supply chain including the associated investment drivers, challenges, risks and opportunities and government processes and a demonstrated ability to identify barriers to project development and propose innovative solutions.
- Advanced analytical capabilities with the proven ability to manage, analyse and synthesise scientific and industry data to develop and effectively deliver well considered, practical strategies and communications.
- A tertiary degree in engineering, geoscience or another relevant field would be advantageous.

**This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.**
