Investment Tax Operations Specialist
The Investment Tax Operations Specialist primarily assists the team with the management of all Investment related taxes and associated tax risks within the broader Cbus Investment team and may also assist relevant parts of the broader Cbus organisation, including with Cbus Property.
In this newly created role, the key focus areas include assisting the organization with the Australian and global tax operational and compliance oversight within the Investment team and in-line with the overall Fund wide tax framework. You will liaise with Cbus' external service providers including tax advisers, custodians and asset managers whilst collaborating with internal teams.
To be successful you will ideally be from a tax background from either a large accounting firm, or the financial services industry. Exposure to investments and/or custodians is favourable but not essential.
You possess a willingness and ability to learn and upskill on taxation and superannuation legislation (i.e. income tax, indirect taxes, state taxes) in relation to investment markets and securities and have high attention to detail.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting and/or relevant disciplines is ideal.
