Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled communications professional to join our team. As the Communications Officer, Property, you will report to the Head of Communications and work alongside the Property Team, playing a vital role in developing, creating, and implementing communications programs in support of our extensive property portfolio and property development plans

You’ll also:
- Develop detailed key stakeholder engagement and communications plans for a range of major projects and ongoing maintenance as required.- Write clear and effective communications on a broad range of topics that foster stakeholder engagement.- Work alongside the Property Team to devise campaigns to promote awareness of property vs facility functions and how works are funded.- Stakeholder management - participate as an active member within Projects, including ongoing liaison with key internal stakeholders from RSL LifeCare business units such as Project Management Office, Finance, Marketing, Risk and Compliance and Regional Managers.- Provide meaningful contribution to Project team meetings and Property meetings, recommending changes to the agreed communication strategies to improve stakeholder engagement when needed.- Develop quarterly and annual reports for internal reporting including collected metrics/data.- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on the development and ongoing management of social/digital media strategy to boost awareness and promote the RSL LifeCare Property group and achievements.- Manage all media enquiries, working in tandem with our PR agency.- Responsible for updating Intranet and other digital media platforms including content management via SharePoint and other social tools.- Identify, plan, and create engaging digital content for key communication channels, forums, events, webinars and our intranet.- Provide general support to the RSL LifeCare Communications Team and contribute to various projects not related to Property when required.

We need you to have:
- A relevant university level qualification in communication and media arts.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to create engaging internal and external communications materials in support of an overarching Property strategy.- Demonstrated hands-on experience with digital media platforms such as SharePoint based intranet and content management, and Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms such as Swift Digital.- Strategic thinking to define the optimum plans for key stakeholder engagement and communications, for both internal and external audiences.- The ability to identify and assess the strengths, weaknesses, constraints and opportunities of proposed communications and key stakeholder engagement plans - recommending any necessary changes or course correction measures in the implementation and design of future similar development initiatives.- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.- You can take ownership and work autonomously.- Creative flair, including the ability to develop great visual materials and digital experiences to support communications - strong skills in Adobe Suite required.- The ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively, but also adapt and respond to emerging issues, short deadlines and other demands or challenges.

Desirable:
- At least three years’ communications experience within a large multi-faceted organisation.- An in-depth understanding of the construction and property development industry is highly desirable in this role.
