- **LASER CUTTING MACHINE CAD Operator**

Very successful and long-established business needs DRAFTER for the Metal cutting fabrication, Design, Engineering & Production Processes.

We need a QUALIFIED DRADTER with relevant skills to do various CAD duties of fabricating components. You will be working to strict quality guidelines and paperwork associated with jobs.

This position for recruitment is Permanent full-time with availability to work with good time flexibility.

**The role**:

- Working from an architect plan to create shop drawings,
- Preparation of 3D modeling using our drawings library,
- Prepare CNC programs,
- Send cutting programs to machines,
- Liaise with the Production team
- Open to receiving feedback loop and providing proper response required.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years post qualification experience required,
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with excellent knowledge,
- Prior Experience as a Shop Drawer/CAD Operator or similar,
- A background in work shop Drawing or similar,
- Preparation of drawings/plans using Inventor or similar,
- Co-operate closely with manufacturing teams,
- Prepare CNC programs,
- Send cutting programs to machines,
- Solid CNC and Inventor 3D CAD experience (preferred),
- High attention to work detail,
- A positive and driven personality,
- Strong understanding of the commercial fit out industry & shopwork,
- Display an ability to meet deadlines to lead the project on target.
