We are an IT consulting and services company focusing on Data Analysis, Data visualisation, Big Data and Cloud services based in Victoria.

**Role Description**

We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong background in Tableau, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python and ETL processes. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights, enabling informed business decisions.

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with multiple teams across the organisation to provide data analyses and actionable insights that assist in the development and execution of their respective roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain data models that are the foundation for various analytical and reporting needs.
- Define both strategic and operational metrics in conjunction with teams and ensure their accurate tracking and reporting.
- Execute a wide range of data analyses to uncover insights, patterns, and trends that support business objectives.
- Utilising Microsoft Power BI and Tableau to create insightful and actionable visualisations.
- Build data pipelines and data reporting services that take unstructured data and structure it in such a way that it can be digested and used to make decisions and reporting.

**Key Skills and Experience**

You’ll be great in this role if you
- Have 5+ years in similar Data/Insights Analyst positions
- Proficiency in complex SQL & R for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with Tableau and Power BI for data visualisation and cross team presentations.
- Strong background in ETL processes and data integration.
- Expertise in data modelling and dimensional data modelling for effective data representation and analysis.
- Proficient in writing and optimising SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
- Experience with Oracle\SQL\Azure databases to extract, transform, and load data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative and exploring new ways to model data and insights across the business
- Innate analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to ask the ‘right questions’ to provide interpretation of the data
- The confidence to approach multiple departments in the business to present and action findings

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
