Data Management Role

The role of Data Manager involves managing the data cycle, ensuring high-quality data for the Victorian Integrated Non-Admitted Health (VINAH) Dataset.

A successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Manage the data extraction, cleansing, submission, and reconciliation cycle for the VINAH Dataset
  • Collect and extract data for other relevant datasets as per body reporting requirements
  • Maintain quality control and reconciliation measures for VINAH
  • Liaise with staff involved in front-end data collection to ensure understanding of data and data integrity requirements

This includes contributing to other datasets and reporting, including the Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey (VHES), Discharge Summary Compliance Reporting, and the Victorian Audit of Surgical Mortality (VASM).
