Female Disability Support Worker

Our Client is looking for a Female Disability Support Worker who has a easy going, patient and mature demeanor. He likes to have a good conversation and is after a Disability Support Worker with strong communication skills and an understanding nature.

Our Client enjoys various sports, so having an interest in sport would be valuable but is not necessary. Additionally, Our Client likes to be out and about in the community.

The specific location of this role is yet to be determined. There will be a range of shifts available across a 24/7 roster.

**Our casual base hourly rate for shifts Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm is $33.21/hr. Our weekend rates are $45.33/hr for Saturdays and $58.30/hr for Sundays. Please note pay rates are non-negotiable.**

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have manual handling experience
- Have a valid drivers license
- Have a reliable, clean car with full comprehensive insurance

**Experience**:

- Support worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Card or Yellow Card (preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
