As a Funerals Director Assistant, you will engage in an integral role supporting our funeral services. This role will offer you new life skills, personal growth and development, the opportunity to earn qualifications and progress your career in a personally rewarding industry.

**Duties of a Funeral Director’s Assistant include**:

- Support our funeral services through the provision of vehicle and transport services ensuring vehicle presentation is at a high standard at all times.
- Working collaboratively to bring the deceased into our care with care, dignity and respect.
- Oversee proceedings on the day and ensure pre-arranged plans and ad-hoc requests on the day are appropriately implemented.

**About you**:

- Have strong customer service ethos and values with commitment to service delivery
- Have a professional attitude with an empathetic and compassionate approach towards people
- Be at ease working with grieving families and the deceased
- Have a sense of fulfillment in helping families in their grief whilst maintain composure and professionalism
- Experience in customer service, aged care, hospitals, not-for-profit and other care industries are beneficial, however not essential
- Possess a full, unrestricted driver’s license
