**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced **Area Manager** to join our team to take responsibility for managing the profitability and performance of up to 10 of our stores across the Inner City and Northern Beaches.

We are looking for someone who is results-focused and will help set and drive targets, coach our store managers and look for opportunities for business growth. This is a hands-on and fast-paced role that will see you leading your teams from the front and will report directly to the State Manager.

**What are you accountable for?**
- Motivating and guiding Store Managers to drive sales.
- Ensure efficient operation of stores within your area, including KPI’s, stock levels, wages and shrinkage.
- Coach and mentor Store Managers to develop and maintain high performing teams.
- Ensure all stores are maintaining visual merchandising standards to maximise sales potential.
- Recruiting and developing the right people.
- Understand and ensure Company Policies and Procedures are adhered to within your stores.

**What will make you successful**:

- 3 years’ experience in an Area Manager role, preferably within apparel.
- Previous experience managing a portfolio of at least 8 sites in high-volume stores.
- Have an empowering leadership style.
- A thorough understanding of KPI’s.
- Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering results.
- Passionate about people, team development and our customers.
- Outstanding relationship building skills.
- Solution-focused & creative problem solver
- Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills.
- Full Australian Drivers Licence
