We have an exceptional career opportunity for a Business Planning and Program Lead. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will be an integral member of our Integrated Energy team, which includes AGL’s trading, portfolio, major projects and operations functions. You will work closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure the Integrated Energy business runs smoothly and effectively.

In this role you will use your business and project management skills to make a lasting contribution to the development and delivery of the Integrated Energy operating model and strategy. By working in a collaborative and distinct way, you will drive cross-functional outcomes and success.

In this role, you will support your leader by utilising your experience and ability to work both collaboratively but also to take on projects independently and confidentially to deliver quality outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:
- Co-ordinating the production of Integrated Energy reports/documents and producing summary reports- Drafting analysis, presentations and materials as required for the Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer- Preparing minutes and action lists for key steering committees and leadership meetings- Supporting the Chief of Staff in shaping, planning and delivering select strategic and business transformation projects for Integrated Energy, and manage well-defined projects with supervision provided by the Chief of Staff- Quality-assuring papers and reports from around the business prior to submission to key governance forums such as Board, ET, and Committees- Monitoring and tracking priorities, key milestones and outcomes- Supporting the development and delivery of the strategic roadmap for Integrated Energy- Planning and supporting delivery of key forums for Integrated Energy leadership- Capturing and proposing improvement opportunities to advance the Integrated Energy business- Effectively collaborating across different areas of Integrated Energy at multiple levels of the business, you will be equally comfortable working both in a team and autonomously. Adaptable with energy and drive, you will be highly motivated to support delivery on key outcomes

What you’ll bring to the table:
- Three to five years experience in a similar business planning, strategy, consulting or coordination role- Organisational skills with good attention to detail- Strong Microsoft Office skills- Experience in power generation and/or energy markets would be highly desirable- Commitment to travel to operational sites, as required
