**Job Description**:
This position is responsible for sourcing. Being an operationally focused role, key to success will be commodity sourcing strategies, market testing, process improvement and negotiating supplier agreements. This role will also contribute to special projects as necessary in the delivery of ANZ purchasing goals.
- Drive cost reductions through negotiations, leverage, rationalization, market tests, process improvements.
- Develop competitive negotiations to drive cost reduction initiatives with the global supply base, while meeting capacity and quality requirements
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to meet company expectations and objectives.
- Anticipate, recognize, analyse and solve complex supply problems, communicating to and involving colleagues, management and stakeholders as necessary.
- Takes action to address supplier pricing and/or delivery issues; advises management of market conditions and supply base activity which presents significant risk or needs to be elevated to management’s attention.

Supports Senior Buyers with the finalization of contracts and projects.

- Demonstrated working experience in procurement.
- Outstanding negotiations skills - getting to win/win agreements
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and desire to develop business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effectively communication skills
- Proven project management and process improvement exposure
- Hand-on experience with MS Office tools (MS Excel, Power Point, MS Planner, MS Teams)
- SAP user experience preferred.
