This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our Buying team and play a vital part in bringing our French-inspired fashion to life. **Your Responsibilities** - Act as the first point of contact for the Buying department, managing internal and external inquiries. - Support the Senior Buyer in executing product development and range planning. - Maintain accurate product data across all platforms to ensure data integrity. - Prepare, publish, and maintain various internal reports. - Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information and maintain supplier relationships. - Oversee and coordinate the tracking of product samples to ensure timely availability. - Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer demands. - Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support the team as required. **What We’re Looking For** - Previous experience in a Buying Assistant role within branded or high-volume quality fashion or accessories categories. - Proven experience working to a Merchandise Critical Path. - Strong communication skills, particularly in managing supplier correspondence independently and professionally. - High attention to detail with strong follow-up skills. - Proactive, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work both independently and within a team. - Excellent time management and organisational skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable. - Tertiary education in Fashion, Marketing, Business, or Commerce is desirable but not essential. **Why You’ll Love Working with Us** - **Generous employee discounts on our stylish collections.** - **Recognition of milestones with work anniversary celebrations.** - **Monthly end-of-month drinks and birthday festivities.** - **Access to our Employee Assistance Program.** - **Opportunity to be part of a proudly Australian-owned fashion retailer.** **Hear From Our Team** **_"Why I love working at Blue Illusion This company genuinely supports, encourages, and inspires at every level.
